The Seventh
Weekend
"Entering into Gods
Rest" was the theme for this weekend which was held on 1st - 3rd November 2002
at St. Gabriel's Centre, Ditchingham.
We took as our scripture
for the weekend verses 1-3 from Psalm 23: "Because the Lord is my Shepherd, I
have everything I need. He lets me rest in the meadow grass. He leads me beside
the quiet waters. He gives me new strength. He helps me do what honours Him
most."
As we came together,
taking time out of our busy lives to sit at the feet of Jesus, we heard from
Him, we entered into God's Rest, and were excited at what the Lord accomplished
in and through us over the weekend.
The offering this year
went to support Barnabas Homes in Kings Lynn and the Samuel Joseph Jackson
Memorial Mercy Orphanage in Bangalore. The picture below shows some of the
children playing with balloons from the visit in June 2002.

The subjects that
were covered in the main sessions were:
- Dwelling in the Shelter of the
Most High
- Restoring the Tabernacle of
David
- Entering into God's Rest
- Seated in Heavenly Places
- Have you heard the Gentle
Whisper of God ?
Through sensitive
times of worship, challenging messages from the Word of God and many prophetic
words, God met needs in women's lives. |
Many tears flowed - tears
of healing, tears of sorrow and tears of joy - as the Lord ministered to us as
individual women. Though there were many tears, there was also laughter, new
friendships made and others renewed. It truly was a refreshing
oasis.
It was also a blessing to
have so many seminars running this year, with subjects ranging from loss and
bereavement to learning more about the prophetic ministry. With so many to
choose from, many women attended two!
