Abortion continued....
WHAT ABOUT WOMEN'S RIGHTS?
The pro-abortionists maintain that a woman has the right to
control what happens to her own body both in respect of contraception and
abortion. This is a plausible argument and should not be ignored provided that
other factors are also taken into account. Should not the father (be he the
husband or partner) and the baby also be considered? The baby has a right to
live and if no one takes up its case, it remains defenceless and speechless.
The United Nations' Declaration of the Rights of the Child stated that "The
Child needs special safeguard and care, including appropriate legal protection
before as well as after birth".
