Refreshment Day - 5 June
2004
Following the success of the Refreshment
Day on 6 March, we were looking forward to gathering together for our second
Refreshment Day, to enjoy worship, ministry and fellowship with Christian women
from different churches in Norfolk and further afield in our region of East
Anglia.

lunch

Around 44 women from around Norfolk
and beyond attended the day . We were pleased to be able to offer a sit-down
meal at lunchtime. The tables looked very attractive and inviting as people
walked into the church. |

Rachael Adams led us in beautiful
times of worship, in the morning and afternoon sessions, which allowed the Holy
Spirit to soften our hearts and to speak to us through words of prophecy and
other spiritual gifts. |

Our speaker for the day was
Beverley Molineaux from Downham Market Christian Fellowship in
Norfolk.
Beverley spoke to us from the book
of Philippians and challenged us to have a beautiful attitude and to shine like
stars. Many women responded for prayer ministry at the end of the meeting.
It was truly a refreshing day,
both physically and spiritually, and the women from Watton Pentecostal Church
were encouraged to put on further Refreshment Days next year. |
