Christians in a Secular World continued....
CHRISTIANS AS WATCHDOGS
Church people together with other socially-concerned
citizens constantly monitor the proceedings of Parliament, assessing the
implications and where appropriate pressing for amendments etc. They lobby
their M.Ps and even organise protests against what they feel is detrimental to
the nation's moral welfare. They will not countenance violent protests but will
take a robust stand when necessary.
