Ownership of money and possessions is an important factor in modern life, and in affluent societies it has assumed a place of top priority.

The Bible is not silent on the subject as it lays down some principles and guidelines to govern it use.

King Solomon of Old Testament fame was a very rich sovereign, and when he considered things from a mere humanistic point of view he concluded that money answers all things(1). A lot of people would go along with that, although it's not the last word on the matter.
