Guideline 11

* Make paid and volunteer appointments conditional on the successful completion of a probationary period.

Church response:
Applicants for paid or volunteer work with children or young people must have the appointment confirmed by the church council and then begin a probationary period, which shall normally be for twelve months, but may be extended or reduced as required.
