Tenth Anniversary Conference
We certainly had a great time at our 10th Anniversary over the weekend of 14th-16th October 2006 at St Gabriel's in Ditchingham. We even had a cake to celebrate!
Our first session on the Friday evening was different - after the welcome and introductions we heard testimonies from two women who had attended last year's Weekend and how God had worked in their lives since. Rachael Adams then spoke to us about worship and then led us into God's presence in praise, worship and adoration - a wonderful start to our weekend.
Saturday morning began with a bible study from Angela Pye, session 1 of 2 concluding on Sunday morning. Angela's subject was the feasts of Israel and contained a wealth of teaching and insight into the significance of the feasts and how they all relate to Jesus. Angela's messages can be read by clicking below.
Session 1 - Passover, Unleavened bread, First fruits, Pentecost
Session 2 - Trumpets, Day of Atonement, Tabernacles
After coffee we heard from Fran Tregay about the work of the Taverham Help Shop. Fran talked to us about the vision, the tests of faith experienced and the goodness of God in the success of the Help Shop. We gathered round and prayed for Fran that God would continue to bless her and all those involved in this wonderful ministry to the people of Taverham and beyond.
The first half of Saturday afternoon saw a new venture - the Question Time Panel with Jenn Weaver, Fran Tregay and Norma Potter answering questions from the audience. Everyone enjoyed the panel's honesty and humour as they answered questions of varying degrees of levity!

Following the tea break, seminars from Rachael Adams and Norma Potter were well attended and participants gained much from their sharing and teaching.
Saturday evening was a great time of celebration both in worship and the message brought by Jenn Weaver. All the women enjoyed Jenn's down-to-earth style and related to her warmth. Jenn prayed for many of the women in the ministry time after the service.

Saturday was certainly a full day of ministry, worship and fellowship and yet there was more still to be enjoyed on Sunday morning when Angela gave the second part of her teaching on the Feasts of Israel. Then, as always we ended our time together with worship, wonderful testimonies of God's goodness over the weekend, communion and prayer.
