Who is the victim?

Most victims of bullying are children with little or no self-esteem or confidence, for whatever reason. Perhaps the child:

• Has an ear that sticks out
• Has a stammer
• Is bad at sports
• Is new to the district
• Has a different religion or belief
• Wears different clothes
• Has a different accent
• Has a disability
• Has a different nationality or colour

Bullies can also be victims of bullying and they can often think what they are doing is just a bit of fun.
