* Apply agreed procedures for children to all paid staff and
volunteers.
Church response:
All new helpers and leaders
will be expected to show that they have knowledge of the procedures agreed by
the church council/leadership.
Every person who works with children or young
people should be given a copy of the church policy. They should have a working
knowledge of the guidelines and procedures for best practice. This will help in
the protection of the children in their care and to minimise the possiblity of
false allegations.
